New Motley Crue Greatest Hits CD

Motley Crue are my favourite band right now and on November 17th they are releasing a new Greatest Hits compilation. However, unlike their last collection, Red, White and Crue, it is by no means definitive. It is missing a few essential songs from the back catalogue, such as Live Wire, and there are no song included from the years when John Corabi worked with the band. However it does include most of the bands hits, including 5 from the Dr Feelgood album which has just been re-released for it's 20th anniversary.
As much as I love Motley Crue, there are only two songs on this album which are not available on their last Greatest Hits collection, and I'm sure most other fans are with me in saying that an album of new material would be preferred to yet another greatest hits compilation. This album's best purpose is as an introduction for new fans, who would probably rather download the songs anyway.

Girls Girls Girls

So today I met Megan and Morven and we mostly watched Crue videos and I drew all over Morven. That's about all I have to report today so far.

Tomorrow I think I'm going to Langholm since it's their Common Riding and I'd like to see Benji so he'll hopefully be out.
On Monday morning I have to go to school and get my photo taken for the newspaper because my panels are up outside the school.
And on Wednesday I'm supposed to get my exam results, uh oh.

And that's all the planning I have for the future aside from the gigs I have coming up.

First blog?

Hello internets.

I'm pretty sure I've made an account on this site once before but I have no idea what my username would be so let's forget about it.
I also have a LiveJournal that I've never ever used...

So I am christening this my first blog, at least it is on a site dedicated to blogging.

I don't have much to write about, my life isn't all that exciting. I don't get out much you see.
The reason I joined this was to keep track of the blogs I read better cos I always miss entries and that annoys me.

So today I did a bit painting. I bought acrylic paints which are lovely and I wanted to test them out but I couldn't find any photos I wanted to copy so I started to draw Sean Smith. However it turned into Davey Havok. Then I found a huge Bullet For My Valentine poster and painted over Matt Tuck so he'd look like Audrey Kitching. This failed a lot.
I was about to give up but I put on my laptop instead and painted Ulala from Space Channel 5 (I love that game I got it when I was a kid for Dreamcast) which I am pleased with.

Since then I've been online, overusing Twitter and watching videos. I watched Audrey Kitching doing a webchat thing for a little bit and I watched a programme about this teenager who'd left home and was trying to get his life on track, it was so lovely when he found all the family he didn't know before.

I was going to post my paintings from the day but I haven't put them into my computer yet.

Tomorrow I'm going to meet Megtard and Morven (the two bestest people I know) and be generally out the house, which will be good.

I doubt anyone will ever read this but I guess I will if I don't forget it exists.

Maybe I'll see you again blogland.
